It’s never too early for a photo session. Lately I have been photographing many newborns. I often hear that people think that photos of newborns can’t be artistic… I think that couldn’t be farther from the truth! People have the image of that hospital newborn shot in their minds. I have had clients bring their newborns in as early as one week old. A few weeks ago I did this photo session of Will (3 weeks old) with his proud sister Mia and mom Megan. Hope you enjoy this slide show. Moms wanted me to remind other mom’s to be sure and bring enough diapers for the session. Will went through 6 diapers during his photo session!

You usually hear me talking about photographing babies or kids that are not old enough to talk back to me. This week I had the honor of photographing some amazing grown up dancers! I don’t just photograph kids… but kids at heart sometimes! This session was for my client and neighbor Kristen Ramirez owner of Baby Take A Bow (Website). Baby Take a Bow classes include traditional ballet classes but also offer hip-hop classes for kids who like to get funky! Kristen needed photos of her instructors and staff – here are just a few of the photos from the session and some behind the scenes. I had fun getting in front of the camera!

 We just got back from our annual photography convention in Las Vegas last week and have so many new creative ideas to photography BABIES UNDER 2 MONTHS OLD! These sessions will be taking place before March 9th and on weekdays only. You will also receive an 8×10 as a thank you for volunteering. Babies can be anywhere from 1 week to 8 weeks old.
